Does Starfield Support DLSS 4.5?
Status: Updated Support
Starfield launched without DLSS but now supports it natively. However, the shipped DLL often lags behind. Upgrading to DLSS 3.7.0 significantly improves the stability of stars and distant planetary bodies, which used to flicker with the original version.

How to Enable DLSS 4.5 in Starfield
- Do not use the in-game sharpening slider if swapping DLLs; newer DLLs handle sharpness internally.
- Set Render Resolution Scale to 67% for 'Quality' equivalence.
Is it Safe to Swap the DLL?
For single-player games like Starfield, updating the nvngx_dlss.dll file to version 4.5.10.0 is generally safe and can improve image stability, reducing ghosting and shimmering compared to the stock DLL file. Always use DLSS Swapper to backup your original file first.
